What is Community Solar and How Can You Participate?*

DATE: Wednesday, July 28
TIME: 7:00 to 8:00 PM
LOCATION: Via Zoom
PRESENTER: Hal Sprague, Trajectory Energy

Good for the environment and good for your pocketbook!

Promoting Clean Energy–with a focus on community solar–is one of our League’s action goals for 2021-2022.

Illinois’ new community solar program allows electricity customers (renters and homeowners) to enjoy the benefits of solar energy without installing panels on their own homes. Community solar farms constructed in Illinois advance the State’s clean energy goals, provide clean energy jobs, and can save residents money on their electric bill.

Hal Sprague of Trajectory Energy will answer all your questions, by explaining how Community Solar is being rolled out in Illinois, the current availability of Illinois solar farms, and the steps in becoming a community solar subscriber.
