May 22: Lobby Day in Springfield: Fix the FOID with SB1966

To attend Lobby Day

[The FOID (Firearms Owners Identification Card) has three gaps which legislation SB1966 would address:

  • Require fingerprints as part of a FOID card application
  • Require universal background checks on ALL gun sales
  • Require renewals of FOID cards every 5 years – as opposed to every 10 years, as the law stands now.]
